Our Mission
YES is committed to working with the young people experiencing or/at risk of homelessness to reduce the risk and impact of their homelessness by:
- Providing them with accommodation and support services responsive to their needs
- Working with young people in a developmentally appropriate manner by providing information and resources that will assist young people make informed decisions and life choices
- Influencing government and sectorial policy and practice utilising strategies such as structural /systemic advocacy, collaboration and capacity building.
Our Vision
Our vision is to lead our industry by working in collaborative relationships to end systemic youth homelessness and positively transform our society.

YES upholds and supports the rights of all people to a safe and secure living environment, to be treated with respect and dignity, to be treated in a fair, non-discriminatory and non-judgmental manner, and to be informed and supported to make their own life choices and decisions.
In responding to people we believe that they require access to a broad range of personal, social, intellectual, economic and spiritual resources for personal and community well being.
